Week 13 & 14

Well hello everyone! I know it's been two weeks but this mama to be has been super busy! I've been volunteering for Surf-Ivor Parlee Beach (which is a mini-version of the real Survivor) and I haven't had a chance to see my hubby to be or my dog let alone get online!  The event went very well and I am back and I need to start relaxing! I went to see both my specialist and I met my OB this week.  All news was good news!! When I went to see the specialist, it was a new doctor but she was just as nice as the other one.  They measured the babies and they were all measuring perfectly along with me.  My sister came with me to see her future nieces and/or nephews and it was really awesome to have her there.  I'll be going to the specialist so often that there will be a rotation between my mother, Gabriel and my sister to accompany me to see the babies.  They were so cute! Baby A was moving around like a crazy little monkey while Baby C was just chillin on his back. It was so funny to see Baby A moving around underneath Baby C while we were examining him/her.  Baby B was a mix in between just moving around a little bit, at one point he/she looked like he/she was sucking his/her thumb!  Doctor Murphy asked me if I wanted to know the baby's genders and I was like YES!!!  So she started looking at Baby B to see if she could tell and she was humming and aaaahing turning the machine this way and that.  At one point she said, well if I look this way it's a girl and if I turn it this way, it's a boy so I can't really tell so you'll have to wait.  SERIOUSLY?!? Don't bring my hopes up and then tell me I'll have to wait another three weeks!!! I will know on August 7th!!!!!!!!! However, I will only be revealing their genders at the wedding (August 17th). It'll be hard to keep it hidden for 10 whole days but it'll be so amazing to see everyone I love's reactions at our wedding!!  My appointment with my OB was good, Gabriel came with me this time as it was our first time meeting with her. Her name is Carole LeBlanc which is awesome because that's the name of my amazing aunt whom we lost last year to cancer. It's like she's watching over me and my babies....  Dr. LeBlanc was great, it was like we were talking to a friend who was just really knowledgeable! She said I measured like a 20 week singleton pregnancy (so 6 weeks more than I am!) She advised me that I will definitely won't be going back to teaching in September and that I should already limit a lot of my activities. She warned me about doing too much for the wedding preparations so I will be delegating delegating delegating!  The wedding is less than a month away!!

So as far as the pregnancy is going and how I'm dealing this week... I've gained 25 lbs already!!!!!! (AHHHHH!!!!!!!!) The doctor didn't seem concerned over it, she even said she was happy I was fairly healthy.  I'm not feeling sick all day long anymore, I can drink milk again (YES!), we all really know that means I can have ice cream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I can pretty much eat anything I want and I have been, especially this last week with Surf-Ivor having so many wonderful sponsors, I've been eating nothing but JUNK! I'm actually quite sick of it, so pizza, chicken, burgers, chips, and sweets will be on the back burner for a little while!!  So those are all the good parts....  My lower back hurts a lot even after a little bit of work, I can't walk for long periods of time without having to sit down. Gabe tells me I'm not waddling yet, but my walk has definitely changed. My belly is still growing, 3 inches in the last two weeks and I'm always feeling it stretch all the time. And last but not least, my feet are swelling every night and I've had to take off my engagement ring due to my hands being bigger.  My wedding shoes are not going to be what I wanted them to be, so I got a 7$ special at Wal-Mart (still cute but sad) and I may have to buy a fake ring for the ceremony so Gabe has something to put on my finger!!

Alright, stay tuned for the next update!!! My bachelorette is next Saturday so that should be fun!! Let's get WASTED!!!!! (HAHAHA.... of course I mean everyone else!!)

Week 13 ~ 46 inches
