The one where the bird pooped on my head...

Yep... right in the middle of Downtown Disney, under beautiful trees with beautiful stupid birds who pooped right in my hair and down my back... yuck!  Was I grossed out enough?  No, my niece had to tell me the story about the time they saw a bird pee on a lady's arm and she looked at it, thought it was water and LICKED IT!!!!!!!!!!!  I threw up in my mouth... made me feel better about the poop in my hair... almost.  That was exciting!

You can't see it, but it's in my hair too!

Gross...

Downtown Disney was the only Disney attraction we did because, well frankly, it was free.  We spent about 2 hours there and it was fun but it was enough.

It's still always exciting to see that sign!

They said that kids under 2 got in for free so we considered just putting the kids in and letting them have fun... jk obviously!

Zachary looks so damn cute in his hat

Buzz and Woody all made of LEGO!

Gabe with a LEGO Woody...hehe
Today marks my boys' actual one year birthday had they been born on time.  Jacob has been walking for about 2 months now, Samuel is walking more and more (up to 10 steps at a time) and Zachary... well... he'll get there.  For me, they're 14 months old little men and growing at that rate, but it's nice to know that they are doing amazing for preemies born 2 months early.  So Happy Actual Due Date Birthday boys!!!

Not many big things happened this week but lots of little things such as the fact that Jacob started imitating Gabe on Monday night as he was making monkey sounds and ended up whistling.  Yep! Little Jacob purses his lips, blows in and out and whistles... sooooooo freakin adorable!

On Wednesday we took a trip up to my mom's house (which is about an hour's drive) to spend the day with her and the boys.  The day was pretty cold so we didn't think we'd be going to the pool but we ended up going for a walk to see the renovations they did with the pool and a quick toe dip ended up with bum dip and then a whole body dip... in their regular diapers... in their regular clothes... HA!  We sent my step-dad back at the house to get some towels so we could bring them back.  OF COURSE, I didn't have enough diapers so we put them in the swim diapers that we brought just in case (how ironic right?).  They had fun so that's what matters right?  Gabe and I also went for a pedicure.  He's super ticklish so I had to convince him to come with me but he actually quite enjoyed it!

Thursday we spent the day at the house and the boys were pretty crabby all day so it was a rough day.  Of course it had to be the day that my sister and her family had taken their turn visiting my mom so we were alone.  We took a few car trips so that soothed them a bit but holy moly! What a day!

Friday my sister, my brother in law, Gabe and I went into Tampa (after dropping off our 5 children with my mother) to use the 2 hour segway tour gift certificates my mother had bought for us.  I almost didn't go because the moment I got on the damn thing, I fell off.  I was so scared, I was shaking like a leaf.  There is a video of all of this but since it's my blog, you won't see it... lol.  Finally I got the hang of it and off we went.  Aside from my feet hurting and completely becoming numb, it was a lot a lot of fun.  Thanks Mom for not only the fun morning but for watching the kids and letting us unplug for a while!!

We went out to eat at Texas Roadhouse last night with the whole family to celebrate my niece Gabrielle's birthday and the boys did amazing.  We got home a little later than we wanted to and put them to bed about 1 hour later than they've been used to here so it messed up their schedule and mood today but we got through it.  We had a lot of help to get us through today.  We had to keep them entertained as much as we could because they got bored and whiny really quickly.  We went to see the arcades they had up at the resort center and saw that they had an indoor playpark.  We weren't really allowed to go in and as a rule follower, I was nervous as we went up but it was fun.  I was also scared that the whole structure would buckle under my mother's, Gabe's and my weight!  We then went to see my sister and her family at the pool and spent some time hanging out and walking around.

We only have one full day left so we're going to chill out as much as possible and enjoy our last day before we travel.  I'm now going to go enjoy a nice evening with my family and some Applebee's.  I swear I'm not getting on the scale for a week after I get home... Good food but man oh man did I ever eat too much!  Simply for WHAT?!?

Here are some pics :

We went to a mall where there was a M&M's land!!! So cool!

Mamie with all her grandkids!

Jacob is trying to eat two snacks AND drink his milk at the same time... slow down boy!

The boys didn't leave the blanket as they didn't like the Florida grass! Longer and coarser..

Fun times in the playpark
